Bicycle hire can be arranged with staff and this is a wonderful way to explore the beautiful countryside that surrounds the complex.
All apartments are fully fitted with well-equipped kitchenette including a fridge so you can prepare your own meals whenever suits you. There are private bathrooms in all apartments and a balcony or terrace so you will always have a private place to sit and enjoy the warm Algarve sun. For the younger members of your party, there is a kids playground onsite so they will always have somewhere safe to play and meet other children.

The eastern Algarve is a great spot for keen walkers, with many marked trails and walking tours available. The hotel is located close to the resort of Tavira, where you can find a wide range of activities to amuse all the family, as well as some stunning architecture that is well worth exploring. The Tavira indoor market is a must for food lovers, with a delicious array of local produce on offer, including olives, fruit, nuts and fish.
No visit to the Algarve would be complete without spending some time soaking up the sun on one of the many beaches and from Tavira you can reach one of the finest beaches around. Take a boat to Tavira island and you will find Cabanas beach on the east side, a gorgeous sandy stretch of beach that, due to requiring a little extra effort to reach, is not as crowded as many of the Algarve’s more accessible beaches. The hotel is located far enough east for a day trip to Spain to be perfectly feasible. You can either join an organised tour or rent a car and drive yourself across the border and explore western Spain. The closest major city is the beautiful Seville, home of flamenco, bullfighting and fiestas.

Most guests are struck by the unspoilt surroundings in which the hotel lies as well as the environmentally sensitive construction and maintenance of the complex. It is ideal for those that enjoy fresh air and outdoor pursuits as well as anyone that just wants to relax away from the crowds. A recent visit by a Scottish couple was described by the guests as “wonderful” and they found that “the whole area is breathtakingly beautiful”.
The general feeling among previous guests is that this is a hotel for those that like to really get to know a different part of the world rather than those looking to party. The nightlife is minimal, although the hotel itself does have a welcoming piano bar for evening entertainment. If you want to really relax and get away from the crowds, high rises and souvenir shops of many other holiday resorts, this is definitely the place for you.
