Location

The town of Sagres is a beautiful introduction to the Algarve and the central Republic Square is the ideal spot for a relaxing coffee in one of the many pretty cafes. The beaches around Sagres are among the best in the Algarve for surfing. With access to both sides of the cape, no matter which way the wind is blowing, there is great surf somewhere nearby. The beach at Martinhal, just a short way along the coast to the east of Sagres is stunning and popular with surfers and sunbathers alike.
