Duna Mar is located around 45 kilometers from Faro Airport, the point of entry for most tourists visiting the beautiful Algarve region of Portugal.

The shared facilties at the Duna Mar Algarve apartment complex are also excellent. Those who want to keep their beach body in shape can make use of the health club, which features a gym and indoor pool as well as relaxing sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, and a range of massage treatments.
Guests can relax at the outdoor pool, and enjoy a drink at the poolside bar whilst taking in the beautiful beach views. There are two restaurants at the complex – one offering buffet meals and the other serving a-la-carte meals. At the latter, guests can take their pick from traditional Algarve cuisine or choose from a range of international options. One happy repeat customer, who has stayed at the Duna Mar for four consecutive years, found the facilities here to be ‘excellent for all ages’. The reviewer loved the location of the complex, and also enjoyed the wealth of good restaurants to be found in Monte Gordo itself.
Another reviewer described Duna Mar as a ‘Great, modern and a clean apartment-based hotel just off the coast with ample leisure facilities, two pools and a gymnasium.’. This reviewer found the rooms to be spacious and the staff to be friendly, and said that although the outdoor pool was a little chilly in March, it was a pleasant way to cool off after sunbathing.
