The Vilabranca Apartments are located approximately 2km away from the city centre, so Lagos centre is easily accessible by foot and by the many bus routes that run in Lagos. The apartments are also only 10 minutes away from the coastline, so they are the perfect base for a beach holiday or exploration of the Algarve region.

Designed in the Mediterranean architectural style of white buildings and low coloured roofs, the Vilabranca Lagos apartment complex is stylish, open plan and full of lush vegetation. It is a secure complex within a safe residential area. It is spacious and open with a huge private swimming pool for its guests and a large terraced section for sunbathing and relaxing on complementary sun-loungers in the Portuguese sunshine. There is also a pool bar and a snack bar serving snacks throughout the day and an a la carte menu in the evening. There is a games room for families to get involved in and a childrens’ play area to keep the little ones happy as well as a cosy café to enjoy. The apartments themselves are four star with fantastic amenities and facilities including private bathrooms and showers, local and satellite TV in the rooms, a mini bar and fridge, kitchenette for cooking at home, safety deposit boxes and central heating for the chilly Spring and Winter nights. The ground floor apartments come with a terrace and garden area and the first floor apartments have a fantastic balcony so you can look over the vegetation and see the sea.

Things To Do Nearby

Aside from the gorgeous beaches and the sheer convenience of the apartment complex’s fantastic facilities and amenities, this area of the Algarve has a lot to offer to a variety of international tourists. The nearby Praia de Luz is a beautiful beach area which offers water sport and other beach activities to keep you entertained. Some areas along the coast also hire out jet skis, waterskiing and scuba diving lessons if you and your family fancy a more adventurous kind of holiday.

Lagos town itself is a fantastic example of Portuguese culture, with a host of museums, a top of the range gastronomical circuit and beautiful lagoons and rocky cove areas. The architecture is typical of this area, and there are lots of night cafes so you can sit outside and enjoy the local sea food dishes under the stars. If you are looking for nightlife, Albufeira is fairly close and has a “strip” of bars and clubs with cheap entry prices and drinks. Faro is the region’s capital and has a wealth of beautiful Portuguese architecture typical of the Algarve region. Most of the towns in this area are similar in that they have a beautiful marina, great seafood restaurants and quaint markets with handmade goods.
