Things To Do Nearby

Lagos is well positioned for exploring the Western most tip of the Algarve coast. Heading West lies the town of Sagres, and North East of here is the inland town of Vila do Baspo.

Heading East of Lagos are some stunning beaches. Visit Alvor, Portimao and, further East, Albufeira to experience the bustle of a larger resort and its shops, restaurants and bars. Travelling North from Lagos, you will be rewarded with some amazing views of the coast from the mountain range of Sierra de Monchique.

There are dolphin watch boat trips running daily from Lagos, as well as grotto cruises and barbecues. You can see what is on offer by taking a stroll along the marine front. For the more adventurous, quad bikes can be hired, with a range of safaris on offer. Speed boats and jet skis can also be hired. Lagos has some great shops where you can by local souvenirs ranging from traditional ceramics to leather goods.
