The hotel is located 150 metres from the beach front, with wonderful views across the longest beach in the Algarve, Meia Praia, stretching an amazing 4 miles. Lagos is a laid back resort, with plenty of restaurants catering for all tastes, from international to local cuisine, and a great choice of bars too.
Lagos is 35 kms East of Sagres, and the road travelling North from Lagos takes you to Silves, the first capital of the Algarve, where you will find a Moorish castle. Also North of Lagos lies the mountain and spa town of Monchique. West of Lagos lies the fishing village of Praia da Luz, and beyond that lies Burgau. Further West is the coastal village of Salema with some interesting Roman ruins.

Guests have use of the lift to upper apartments. Tennis courts are available to guests. There is a snack bar serving snacks throughout the day as well as an entertainment room, with pool tables, table tennis, darts and electronic games. A bar offers evening entertainment during the Summer months. The bar has a terrace overlooking the swimming pool and is a great place for a relaxing cocktail. Sailing, water skiing, golfing and windsurfing are also on offer at the hotel.

Close to the Dom Pedro Meia Praia Beach Club Hotel there are plenty of options available for all tastes including scuba diving and boating. The Palmeres Golf Course is Par 71, with magnificent views over the bay and the Monchique mountain range.
The marina in Lagos is a pleasant place for a stroll, followed by a leisurely lunch at one of the water side cafes overlooking the yachts. The beaches nearby are some of the best in Portugal, with Dona Ana being the most popular with families. Gently shelving beaches mean that conditions here are perfect for swimming. On the headland lies the lighthouse, Ponta da Piedada, best viewed from the sea, and there are many opportunities to take a boat trip from Lagos, including dolphin watching trips and boat trips which take in many of the smaller coves along the coastline.
With the coast edged with so many stunning cliffs, it is a pleasure to take a stroll along the coast, stopping off at one or more of the many cafes along the way for a refreshing drink. Alternatively, a short walk or drive inland will offer some splendid views of the beaches and mountain range. On the first Saturday of each month there is a market held in Lagos, where you can find an excellent display of fruit, vegetables and fresh fish, as well as souvenirs and gifts. There are many tours available including trips to Albufeira, Monchique, Silves, Albajur Coast, Sagres, the Guadiana River, and an overnight stay in the capital of Portugal, Lisbon.
