The hotel is only 90 kilometres and a one hour drive from Algarve’s Faro Airport and just over a 2 hour journey from Seville and 3 hours from Lisbon. The complex is positioned 300 metres from two of Portugal’s best beaches, Praia D’Ana and Praia de Camillo.
1 kilometre away lies the town of Lagos and the strikingly beautiful headland at Ponte da Piedade is 800 metres away. Other nearby beaches include Praiede Porto Mos which is a 3 minute drive away, and Baia da Maia Praia, only 2 kilometres away.

The Costo D’Oiro Ambiance Village in Lagos has 68 suites, including 36 studios and 16 twin bedrooms, as well as 16 one bed apartments. There is free Wifi and internet access at the poolside, bar and restaurant.
Rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar in double rooms, direct outside phone, balcony or terrace, hair dryers and safes are available to rent. There is also a laundry service at the hotel, as well as fax, email, car hire, hire of beach towels and parasols, and a currency exchange.
The hotel’s own Restaurante do Village seats 70 and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks. Once a week there is a Portuguese night in the restaurant with live folk lore music and dancing. The Bar do Village serves excellent cocktails and seats 38.
There is a health and well being service offered at the Costo D’Oiro Ambiance Village, including shiatsu, massage, aromatherapy and ginger compress treatment. There is also an Advice on Diet and Organic Cookery Class to enjoy. The complex has 5 swimming pools, including a childrens’ pool and an indoor pool which is available to use from November to March. Clients can hire bicycles here and the hotel will arrange a variety of outdoor excursions and activities on request.
Things To Do Nearby
There are plenty of fine beaches to discover along the Algarve coast, as well as some quaint and unspoilt rural villages inland. With a hire car, holiday makers can investigate the surrounding area at their own pace. Close to the hotel is the Ponta da Bandeira Fortress, only a 10 minute walk away, whilst the historic town of Lagos is a 15 minute walk.
The Palmeres Golf Course and Boavista Golf Course are a mere 6 minutes by car. The Parque da Floresta Golf Course is 12 km away and the Alto Golf Course 20km. The hotel offers a golfing package for some of the best golf courses in the area, and includes reduced green fees.
The town of Lagos itself has a lot to offer the tourist. There are many restaurants to suit all budgets, offering both traditional Algarve cuisine as well as a choice of international menus. Lagos old town has a great deal of history waiting to be discovered. Visit the Slave Market with its array of local art displays or see the Igreja de Santo Antonio Church with its impressive ornate wood carvings.
Take the children on a Dolphin Sea Safari and watch dolphins off the coast on a 90 minute boat trip. There are also several boating excursions leaving the bay, including half day excursions with lunch or dinner, barbecue cruises and sunsets cruises. Parasailing, waterskiing, windsurfing and many other watersports are available at the many beaches in and around Lagos.

The hotel is in a good position from which to discover the rest of the Algarve and even travel inland to see some of Portugal’s wonderful scenery.
Hotel rooms are large, freshly decorated and spotless, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large car park and good road access to all the local towns. The reception staff are extremely efficient and able to help and advise with a smile.
