Turiquintas Armacao – Location
The Turiquintas Hotel is located in popular Armacao De Pera, a picturesque fishing village in the Algarve. It is near a number of beautiful Algarve beaches and cave walks, with boat rides and sailing on offer near the complex. Armacao de Pera is well worth a visit – watching the fishermen in their colourful boats is a pleasure in itself, and there are some fantastic seafood restaurants by the seafront.
Turiquintas Hotel – Rooms
The hotel complex has two buildings with two floors. There are 90 studios and apartments, and a good selection of spacious villas with two and three bedrooms. Every room has a wide balcony, a sofa bed, either one or two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath, and a fully equipped kitchen. There are duplex houses available with two bedrooms situated on the first floor, and a bathroom found on each floor and there’s also a duplex house with a living room, three beds and three bathrooms accommodating up to eight guests.
Each accommodation has a well stocked fridge with an oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery and cutlery, an ironing board and an iron. The living rooms have sofa beds, chairs and a dining table, a television, phone and fireplace. There is also a ‘takeaway’ breakfast service. The rooms are cleaned every day, and the towels and sheets are changed twice a week.
Turiquintas Hotel – Facilities
There are good facilities at the three star Turiquintas Hotel Armacao. The hotel has a large and well tended garden and a pool area. There are two swimming pools – one exclusively for children and they are both surrounded by deckchairs, loungers and parasols in an attractive garden area framed with palm trees. There are also refreshments available nearby. The lobby area is well sized and has a reception desk staffed with multilingual staff. There are also safes for hire and a currency exchange facility.
For relaxation there is a games room stocked with pool table and family games, a television room, and an onsite minimarket for stocking up with essentials. A café is available onsite too for snacks and refreshments, there’s a bar with excellent cocktails and a high quality a la carte restaurant which can also cater for childrens’ tastes. Guests can also take advantage of facilities such as laundry in house, a childrens’ playground, bike hire and car parking for guests who rent hire cars or choose to bring their own. There is also wireless internet access available throughout the campus.
Turiquintas Hotel – Things to do nearby
The Turiquintas is a tourist accommodation complex located in a quiet and peaceful area and surrounded by well tended gardens. It’s located in the Western Algarve, in a tranquil and popular resort, near Armacao de Pera. The beaches of Aloendras are nearby – and Beijinhos is less than a kilometre away. Within the resort areas there are a wide range of shops and restaurants, a traditional Algarve market offering fresh food for self-catering visitors, and excellent bars and nightlife.
The central Algarve location of the hotel is also handy for excursions. Albufeira, one of Portugal’s primary resorts, is just 10km away and has all the attractions of its marina and famous ‘strip’ to enjoy. Vilamoura is also 30km away and there are a wide range of top quality Algarve golf courses in easy transfer distance too – with the nearest around 10km from the hotel and an easy taxi journey away. There are also aquatic parks and zoos such as Zoomarine nearby, and other excursions are available to historical Algarve sites such as castles, historical cities, coastline walks and bike rides and horse riding.

One guest said that the hotel complex was peaceful and welcoming. They found the minimart useful and the restaurant to be of good quality, with the local and regional dishes being particularly good. Another guest enjoyed the bar and found the wide screen television useful for catching up on the sport! Both reviewers found the hotel to be of good quality and friendly and recommended it for its location and on site facilities.
