Location

The three star Quintas das Figueirinhas Armacao de Pera is located in the Algarve region of Portugal. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the region. Within a short distance, you are able to find most forms of entertainment, sporting activity, food or refreshment that you are likely to want. The hotel is only a 30 minute drive from Faro Airport, which is the main airport catering to the region and the main beach in the area is conveniently located just 800 metres away from the complex.

Rooms

The Quintas Das Figueirinhas Hotel complex is a highly sought after hotel complex. Its central Algarve location makes travel to and from the hotel convenient and easy. The complex is split up into apartments which are all well maintained and offer all the comforts of home.

The apartments will sleep up to four people making them ideal for small families or a group of friends. Each bedroom is furnished with two single beds and more than adequate storage facilities. The living room area has a sofa bed which converts into two single beds so two people can comfortably sleep there. The bathroom is well equipped with both bath and shower and is finished and maintained to a good standard. The kitchen comprises an electric griddle, microwave, hanging rope, coffee machine and an iron and ironing board. The apartments are also equipped with satellite TV and a telephone.

Facilities

The Quintas Das Figueirinhas, Algarve has an abundance of useful facilities on offer. The complex restaurant provides excellent food for those days when you really can’t face going into town and simply want to eat on site. There is also a snack bar where you can buy nibbles and a mini market where you can stock up on essentials within the complex.

The complex also has a large garden where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. There are swimming pools for both adults and children to enjoy as well as a childrens’ playground. For the more active holidaymaker, there are both tennis courts and a lawn volleyball facility.

Things to do nearby

The Algarve’s popularity is well deserved, with sightseeing, local culture and activities of all sorts to entertain each member of the family or party. No discussion of the Algarve is complete without a mention of the region’s excellent golfing facilities. There are several golf clubs and courses available within a short distance of the Quintinha Villa complex. Other sports in the area include tennis, bicycle riding and water sports. Being a primarily coastal region, water sports are very popular in the Algarve and there are many clubs which offer both courses and individual tuition, on the nearby Nuestra Señora de Rocha Beach.

Alternatively, if your idea of a holiday is to do as little as possible for as long as possible, the leisurely strolls to the beach, the sunbathing and the seemingly endless variety of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance should prove to be ideal. Both local delicacies including Portugal’s signature seafood dishes together with staple international dishes are on offer. There are also plenty of clubs in which to dance the night away if you feel a sudden burst of energy after all that relaxation!
