Terrace Club Apartments (formally the Key Club Apartments)

The attractions of the Algarve in Portugal are numerous. Whether visiting the region as a family, a group or even alone, there is plenty to entertain and relax you.

In addition to a superb climate with long hot summers, the Algarve boasts superb beaches and a wide range of sporting and leisure activities, not least of which is of course golf. Armaco de Pera is centrally located, making it the ideal base for any excursions and is home to many lively resorts, bars, and restaurants, catering to all palettes.

Location

The three star Key Club Apartments are located in a quiet and pleasant area of Armacao de Pera and close to several of the most beautiful Algarve beaches.

The nearest beach is just 2.5 km away, making it within relatively easy walking distance. The nearest bars and restaurants are also 2.5 km away from the resort. The location therefore combines tranquillity and an “away from it all” feel with easy access to leisure, shopping and other facilities.

Rooms

The Key Club resort in Armacao de Pera, Algarve is split into apartments set within two buildings. Each of the two buildings comprises of four floors and there are 184 apartments in total. All the apartments are maintained to a very high standard and are nicely decorated in a modern style.

All the rooms come equipped with satellite TV and a telephone as well as a balcony and a bathroom with all mod cons together with a kitchenette which is well enough equipped for those nights when you simply don’t feel like venturing to a restaurant.

Facilities

There is a 24 hour reception desk service at the Key Club Apartments situated within the lobby area. The hotel has a coffee shop where you can get a tasty coffee and a range of confectionery, great for snacks or for anyone with a sweet tooth. There is also a restaurant and a bar where you can sample the local cuisine or mingle with the other guests in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The Key Club Apartments have a large swimming pool for both adults and children. The pool is well maintained to the highest of standards. There is a pleasant sun terrace, ideal for working on your tan or relaxing with a good book. Internet access and a laundry service are also available but may be charged as an extra.

Things to do nearby

The Algarve is ideally suited to tourists of all ages. Known, of course, for world class golfing, there are several golf clubs and courses available within a short distance of the Key Club Apartments. Golf is, however, not the only sport catered for in the Algarve, with bicycle riding and water sports also on offer nearby. In what is primarily a coastal resort region, it is unsurprising that there are plentiful water sports clubs offering individual tuition and group courses, including those on the nearby Nuestra Señora de Rocha Beach.

Alternatively, for those of a more relaxed persuasion, a stroll from the Apartments to the beach or into town for a little shopping and perhaps a bite to eat and one of the endless Algarve restaurants could be a good alternative. Armacao de Pera also offers varied shopping, together with clubs and bars for the night owls in your party. For some, simply sitting on the balcony admiring the tranquil gardens at the apartments over a good cup of coffee could be just the relief needed from the stresses and strains of daily life.
