Location

The four star Hotel Garbe is set in a prime location in the town of Armacao de Pera, centrally located in the Algarve region of Portugal. The hotel boasts stunning sea views. It also has direct access to one of the most popular beaches in the Algarve where you can pick up the freshest fish sold on the beach by local fishermen.

Rooms

The Hotel Garbe is a beautiful hotel situated upon a stunning sandy beach which is very popular with holidaymakers in the Algarve. There are 185 rooms in the hotel. All are maintained to the highest of standards and have en-suite bathrooms.

All rooms are equipped with satellite television, a radio and a direct dial telephone so you can always keep in touch with your loved ones. The rooms are air conditioned, ensuring you will be comfortable throughout your stay, even in the middle of the hot Algarve high season. Hairdryers are available and there is heating in every room. Some of the rooms have sea views and some have views of the equally stunning grounds.

Facilities

The hotel has an excellent restaurant which serves delicious Indian cuisine throughout the day to its guests. The restaurant has sea views which you can enjoy whilst eating your meal. There are two bars in the hotel where you can enjoy a wide range of both local and foreign drinks in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The bars are an ideal place to meet new people and make friends.

The Hotel Garbe is also home to a beauty salon which is great if you fancy a relaxing day of pampering. There is a boutique if you feel like a shopping spree and a games room to keep the children entertained throughout your stay. Entertainment is provided regularly in the evening and is ideal if you don’t want to leave the site. There are golf and fishing facilities within a short distance of the hotel.

Things to do nearby

Much of the Algarve’s earnings relate to the tourist industry and facilities reflect this. Couples, singles, families and groups of friends alike will find plenty to do. Being a primarily coastal region, water sports are available in abundance on the nearby Nuestra Señora de Rocha Beach, with training and individual tuition on offer. For would-be Tiger Woods there are numerous golf course throughout the Algarve region including several within easy reach of the resort.

Fitter members of the party may opt for bicycle riding and of course hiring a car is a popular option, with superb scenic routes interspersed with charming Algarve villages to explore. More relaxing options include a stroll into the town, relaxing at any of the myriad of bars and simply watching the world go by. Those with an interest in local cuisine will not be disappointed with many restaurants offering Algarve delicacies or indeed more international fare to suite a range of tastes and budgets.
