Vila Marachique Apartments, Alvor

With endless beaches, year-round warm sunny weather and a fascinating history and culture, it’s little wonder that the Algarve region of Portugal receives countless visitors each year from across the UK and wider Europe.
The Algarve coastline stretches for more than 150 kilometres, dotted with scenic fishing villages and popular resorts such as Alvor. The Vila Marachique apartment complex is perfectly placed for exploring this beautiful part of the world, and is a great base for families who want to make the most of the beaches, as well as groups of friends, water sports enthusiasts and couples looking for a relaxing, romantic break in Portugal.
Location
Set in beautiful grounds that stretch for almost five acres, Vila Marachique enjoys a wonderfully tranquil location that is within easy reach of beautiful Algarve beaches and the centre of Alvor itself, which boasts plenty of bars playing live music, shops, and an abundance of restaurants and cafes. All though well equipped to cater for tourists, Alvor continues to function as a fishing village, and has lost none of its small town charm.
The fishing boats that bob up and down in the scenic harbour bring back bountiful catches of fresh fish each day, much to the delight of diners at the town’s traditional restaurants. A weekly market allows self-caterers staying at the Vila Marachique apartment complex to stock up on fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, locally produced cheeses and other tasty treats. The apartment complex is just 1.5 kilometres from the town centre, and the same distance from the beach. For those looking for something a little livelier, the busy Algarve resort of Portimao lies just three kilometres from Vila Marachique Apartments. Faro Airport, the main point of entry for visitors to the Algarve, is around 45 kilometres by road from the apartment complex.
