Albufeira in Portugal’s beautiful Algarve region, is a convenient three quarters of a hour drive away from Faro airport.
The Magbelvi iii villa in Albufeira is in a development of properties in the smaller resort of Gale, just six and a half kilometres from the centre of Albufeira. These Albufeira villas are in a convenient location from which to walk to the nearby restaurants and bars and the local mini market, whilst still being just a short drive away from the liveliness of Albufeira. This spacious villa in Albufeira is arranged conveniently on one storey, so is perfect for those groups including members who may struggle with stairs. The ground floor is, however, split-level, so a few steps may need to be overcome.
The well-equipped and surprisingly spacious kitchen features dining facilities, a fridge freezer, a cooker and microwave, whilst the lounge also includes dining facilities, as well as satellite television and a DVD player.
The villa sleeps four people in total, with one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both of which feature free standing fans to provide guests with a comfortable night’s sleep in the heat of the Algarve. A bathroom, offering a bath with a shower overhead, a toilet, washbasin and bidet completes the ground floor of the property.
The most impressive aspect of this prime example of Albufeira villas is perhaps its grounds. There is a beautiful lawn on which to relax, as well as a large sun terrace which includes a built-in barbecue for true alfresco dining. You can relax on the terrace on sun loungers, or take a dip in the private pool, which is a sizable five and a half metres long and 3.6 metres wide. It varies in depth from 0.8 metres at its shallowest point to one and a half metres in the deep end and steps make it accessible by swimmers of all ages and confidence levels.
One of the main attractions of the area surrounding the Albufeira villas is the sheer degree of character it emanates, being an extremely popular resort with holidaymakers of all ages. Its amazing sandy beaches, bars, restaurants and vibrant nightlife all bring a charm to the area which is hard to match. Plenty of opportunities for family days out are within an easily driving distance, with the Ocean Life Theme Park and Zoomarine Water Park just slightly inland.
For a more traditional day out, pay a visit to Albufeira’s old town, where the terracotta roofed houses, bustling market and ancient castle really take you back in time. The cobbled, winding streets and steep alleyways can see you happily strolling for hours. Alternatively, the nearby marina brings a more modern, cosmopolitan feel to the area.
The smaller resort of Gale, which is much closer to the villa, offers a beautiful stretch of sandy beach, against a backdrop of jagged cliffs. All amenities are within walking distance, with bars, restaurants and cafes within 0.2 kilometres and a mini supermarket just one kilometre away and thus easily walkable. Gale beach is only two kilometres from the villa, making this resort perfect for a relaxing and peaceful break.
