my family stayed at these apartments Oct 2010, they were a bit out of the way but fortunately there were a few families there at the same time so we were happy to stay by the small bar, no good if you are looking for nightlife though. the staff were friendly but the apts were a bit shabby, the shower hose kept falling of the whilst you were washing and the shelf in the bathroom was hanging off so we were unable to put stuff on it, but other than this it was clean, there were dogs barking but to be honest when you’ve had a few drinks you don’t really notice it too much, there was no playground as stated and no microwave or kettle but you were able to hire a kettle, toaster and iron if needed, I just heated water on the hob for tea and coffee. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. We are coming back to Albufeira again this year as we love the area, but we are staying in apts nearer to the old town and beach.

We have stayed here five times. It is quiet but not dull,the food is ok as is the beer which is cold.

The first time we stayed there was just two dogs barking,this time (our fifth visit) we had the pleasure of six dogs competing for the longest and loudest barking session.ear plugs are a necessity. Be warned. It will get to you even the most placid of people will get drawn.

Hi Holly, The apartments are around 10km from the main Albufeira action and the famous Strip.. It's fairly easy to grab a bus there during the day and a taxi back at night. If you prefer to be closer to the action, then perhaps something like the Vila Petra Hotel would be better?
