Paraiso Albufeira Hotel – Albufeira

The Algarve is the tourist capital of Portugal, with visitors in their thousands flocking to the beautiful coastal resorts every year.
The British have long been fans – possibly due to the fantastic temperate climate, and the fact that the Algarve has more sunlight hours than any other place in Europe. Portugal’s coastline is golden, spacious and exceptionally beautiful and the Algarve has over 150 kilometres of soft sands, deep blue Atlantic sea and fantastic towns, resorts and countryside to enjoy.
Where to stay
Another feature of the Algarve is the wide range of accommodation on offer – everything from full-board hotels to the ever popular ‘aparthotels’ offering a range of studios and apartments on a self-catering or half-board basis for families and other groups. One ever popular hotel is the Aparthotel Paraiso Albufeira.
About the Paraiso Apartments
Paraiso De Albufeira Hotel has 414 rooms and is a four-star accommodation.
The rooms are all air-conditioned and arranged on eight floors. All the rooms have modern decor and are equipped with balconies, a well stocked kitchenette with cooking facilities and tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge, a bathroom with a bath/shower, television, phone and safe. The rooms are also air-conditioned, and many have sofa beds for extra pull-out accommodation. Similarly, cots can be made available for babies and young children and the hotel staff are happy to help organise this for you.
The Paraiso Apartments Facilities
The complex is very comprehensive, with loads to do. There are two outdoor swimming pools and a third heated indoor pool. A kids’ club is available with fully trained staff and babysitting services are also available. There are plenty of diversions such as tennis courts, mini golf, football pitches and basketball courts – as well as restaurants and bars on the premises. The location is also spot on – the old town is just a short distance away and has a lovely marina.
The nearby beaches are very popular and everything is in walking distance from the Paraiso Apartments Albufeira – or there’s a mini train which the kids will particularly enjoy. There is of course the strip in Albufeira resort too, for more lively night time activities such as eating, drinking and dancing. The hotel has a front-desk which is open around the clock and the reception areas also have internet access. The friendly staff are multi-lingual and will help arrange excursions to other areas of interest in the Algarve and airport transfers. There is a breakfast in the bar and the hotel restaurant serves lunch and evening meals. Furthermore there is a health spa, poolside bar, sun terrace and games room.
Things to do Near the Paraiso Apartments
The beauty of the Algarve is that there is something to suit everyone – for family groups there are beaches for sunbathing and many of the beaches have the added safety of lifeguards in high season, and are also very well served with changing and refreshment facilities.
For sporty holiday-makers there are plenty of watersports on offer from jet-skiing to diving and sailing, and on dry land there is horse-riding, cycling through the lovely country, and of course the Algarve’s many famous golf courses. The resorts also have nearby town attractions and popular Albufeira has the famous ’strip’, which offers all sorts of shops, bars, clubs, cafes and restaurants – as well as more functional supermarkets and bakeries for those staying in self-catering aparthotels. The Algarve also has a very friendly family feel, and this makes it perfect for groups.
