The Monte Dos Avos hotel and resort
The hotel and beach complex is situated right in the heart of the famous Ria Formosa nature reserve, in a picturesque maritime and boating location in the Eastern Algarve. There’s the large beach of Fuzeta – and the beautiful and historic town – only around two km away and easily accessible for visitors. Furthermore the main tourist area of Ria is only less than a kilometre away, offering guests and holidaymakers a range of entertainment, dining, drinking and shopping venues… all easily accessible from convenient public transport links, or readily available taxis. There’s also a superior golf course nearby as well – one golf course of many in fact, as the Algarve is famous for its golf facilities!
The Monte Dos Hotel
The hotel has a generous swimming pool, and good sport and leisure facilities, including a tennis court. There’s also a solarium on the terrace and easily accessible garage and carpark for guests. Furthermore, the Monte Dos is unusual in that it allows pets – not common in many Algarve hotels and resorts. There’s also a fully manned hotel reception service for when guests have queries or wish to organise service – and there’s also a laundry service available too. Its excellent location and clean comfortable surroundings are perfect as a relaxing base to explore the wider Algarve and other local attractions.
The accommodation
The Monte Dos complex has seventeen separate accommodations – particularly beneficial for groups who prefer quieter surroundings without hundreds of fellow guests!
Each of the accommodations has a kitchenette with fridge and kettle, a bathroom with shower and central heating / air conditioning that can be controlled within the room. There is also a terrace in each accommodation and a television, hair dryer and telephone etc.

The Algarve is located in South Portugal (South west Europe). It is widely famed for being Europe’s most sunny spot – with fantastic stretching beaches, clean sea waters and consistently gorgeous weather.
