Location

The Alpinus hotel is sited close to the town of Falesia and about 3km from Albufeira. It is within walking distance of the beach although there is a complementary bus that runs there several times a day.

The local buses run past the front of the hotel and travel to Albufeira and the surrounding areas daily however there is also a complimentary bus that runs to the town as well.

Hotel Facilities

The hotel facilities are amongst the best you will find on a cheap holiday in Albufeira. The site has its own bar and restaurant that serves quality food and drinks throughout the day plus a snack bar for little extras. There are two large adult pools and two associated children’s pools – one of each being at either end of the hotel complex. Each pool area has a sun terrace nearby with loungers and parasols – a must for Albufeira holidays. About 300 yards from the Alpinus Falesia Suite hotel you will find a small but well stocked supermarket with daily newspapers and a selection of shops and restaurants.

The hotel provides nightly live entertainment for those who want it on their Albinus Albufeira holidays or alternatively you can catch a taxi to one of the nearby traditional bars. Other facilities include a 24 hour reception service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and plenty of parking for rental cars. One thing that you don’t often see on cheap holidays in Albufeira is the option to join day excursions to places like Lisbon and areas of Spain – an extra that the Alpinus Falesia Suite hotel does offer.

Room Facilities

The rooms at the Alpinus Falesia Suite hotel are generally apartments with either one or two bedrooms. They are all en-suite and have good sized bathrooms. They also have a small but well equipped kitchenette which makes them ideal for family Albufeira holidays.

The facilities include a fridge, cookware, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, Satellite TV and a radio, a direct line telephone, central heating and air conditioning. Each of the Albinus apartments also has a good sized balcony that overlooks the pool area or the extensive gardens.

Reviews of the rooms at the Alpinus Falesia Suite hotel mention that the lounge/dining area is a good size and that the bathrooms are also spacious. Overall Assessment

Very few cheap holidays in Albufeira offer the same high standards of hotel and room facilities as the Alpinus Falesia Suite hotel. It has multiple swimming pools, a restaurant, bar and evening entertainment on site and a variety of alternative options just minutes away. Complimentary buses run to the town of Albufeira and the beach several times a day and during the evening to take night owls down to the various clubs. The rooms are well equipped for family Albufeira holidays and the proximity of the supermarket means you can eat in if you prefer.

The only negative point about the Alpinus Hotel Albufeira is that the beach is a good walk away and once there the steps down to the beach aren’t suitable for people with limited mobility. Saying that, there are other beaches a little bit further out that are easier to get to.
